The "Cuadro" is the place where St. Michael appeared to Conchita on June 18, 1965. The road leads up to pine
trees in background. When our Lady began appearing to the children, she would appear throughout the village, in their homes, at church, but she would primarily lead them up this
road to the pine trees in the background. Garabandal is one of the stoniest areas in the world and on this road was witnessed the greatest case of levitation ever recorded. The
four girls were coming down this road on their knees backwards with their heads thrown back and their knees were not touching the ground. this was proven
when their knees and stockings were checked and found to be without a scratch.
